Hooked on classics
Dovetail has teamed up with KnollStudio to embark on a road-show of Mies van der Rohe classic furniture from the 1930’s.
Originally part of the concept of Mies van der Rohe’s Tugendhat House in Brno, Czech Republic, the furniture on show aptly illustrates the beauty and timeless iconic designs which the famous architect and designer achieved. Dovetail is exhibiting the range including the Brno chair, at nine architectural practices over the course of nine weeks.
Ian Weddell, MD comments, “Mies van der Rohe was one of the greatest designers of the 20th Century creating leading-edge designs which have stood the test of time, many being in more demand today than they were 70 years ago. The point of this exhibition with the top architectural practices in London is to bring celebration and recognition of what the great man achieved."
