A celebration of design

Dovetail, as sponsors of the Design Museum, took the opportunity to invite architect and interior designer contacts, as well as specifiers and suppliers as their guests to a relaxed, and thankfully sunny, July evening overlooking the Thames from the museum’s balcony.

With a retrospective of Richard Roger’s works, including many of Roger’s airport projects and a stunning exhibition of images from fashion photographer Tim Walker, guests were invited to enjoy the museums halls and to enjoy catching up with industry contacts and friends over drinks and canapés. Commenting on the occasion Managing Director Ian Weddell said “We work in a design and aesthetically led industry, so it’s appropriate to celebrate the works of some of Britain’s key talent. The Design Museum, with its intimate yet capacious spaces provides the perfect backdrop for an event where we can delight, entertain and inform our friends.᾿
