Established in 1987, Quest Software is a young and expanding IT company that has offices located throughout the world including Australia, Japan and China in addition to 19 across Europe. Today more than 18,000 customers worldwide have selected Quest to manage complex application environments, increase database performance and simplify Windows™ management.

Dovetail was appointed to assist in the supply of suitable solutions for the office relocation of Quest's European headquarters to 29,000 sq ft of new office space in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The project focused on providing a furniture solution that would embrace all areas of the new building from the Managing Director's office, open plan breakout zones, 8 meeting rooms, staff kitchen and a dining area.

Products such as the Knoll Scope bench desking and Maine Storage were selected for the sales force 'hot-desking' requirements. Knoll Life Chairs, Vitra Tables and other loose furniture provided suitable aesthetic breaks in Dovetail's overall installation. A bold and neutral colour scheme incorporating a red, black and white interior was broken up by corner flagship colours of purple and turquoise, reaffirming the company's fun, dynamic and hardworking culture.

Dovetail's furniture solution for Quest matched the needs of a modern, expanding IT and sales team and the company's request for a fresh, vibrant and dynamic headquarters from which to welcome customers, whilst continuing to expand their workforce.
